Liberaland reader Epiphany turned me on to this one. Ted Kefalinos, of Greenwich Village’s Lafayette French Pastry bakery has created a cookie he calls either “Drunken Negro Heads”, “Drunken N Word Cookies”, or “Obama Heads”. One customer was shocked with this offer by the proprietor: ”Would you like some drunken negro heads to go with your coffee? They’re in honor of our new president. He’s following in the same path of Abraham Lincoln; he will get his.”
Kefalinos tells Arnold Diaz of Fox 5 in New York, “It’s an expression of freedom. For me it’s just a fun thing; that’s all it was, and anyone who says anything else basically should be ashamed of themselves.”
