Looks Like I’m In Trouble With The Law

This is in response to my interview with Bill Ayers.  To be clear, I don’t defend his positions, but I do defend his right to have his views fully expressed and accurately represented.

Ayers IS a cop killer. And you are a jerk! You’re both dangerous.

  1. “And you are a jerk!”

I doubt a real NY cop would write such a limp-wristed condemnation.

  2. Alan

Ya sure HANNITY Did not turn you in? LOL

  3. I don’t like Bill Ayers. I’m guessing Alan doesn’t necessarily go that far, but what the heck is wrong with interviewing someone?

Charles Manson was interviewed by Geraldo, Snyder, and others and I don’t see a problem with it at all. Are people afraid of hearing what Ayers has to say? If it’s bunk (and I think most of what Ayers says IS) then isn’t light the best disinfectant?

Criticize Alan for being a lib (and I hereby criticize Alan), but not for interviewing certain people!

  4. Alan-

Saw you on Hannity last night. He looks really bummed that you left the show. I thought he was going to burst into tears when he noticed you weren’t wearing the watch he gave you!

After you take a breather you should rethink this. Sure Sean is a broken record about Ayers (who may very well be an unrepentant terrorist by the way), and has a problem letting people finish a sentence, but I think the two of you really made a great team. Go beat the crap out of each other, settle your differences, and get the discussion going again (even if you are wrong most of the time ;-)

  5. I second Billy V’s remarks, although 12 years was a damn good run and you deserve your own TV show!!

  6. What kind of Public Info Officer says things like this to a radio host? This guy I guess.

Ayers never killed anyone and this guy is just still worked up off the BS spread in the campaign. Thank you, Alan. Your willingness to address this issue left untouched by others is a service to America. The right wing bashing of Ayers that takes place on FOX and other outlets is shameful. We can all have an opinion on him or be upset with that which he did but trying to silence the man and everyone who speaks his name without attaching terrorist to it is just crud.

You may very well be a unrepentant partisan. I agree with you about Sean and Alan.

Actually Alan is right most of the time. Not all of the time, but usually he is dead on. Hannity on the other hand, like like Limbaugh, only is ever correct about anything even he speaks in hypotheticals.

Sean really doesn’t do you conservatives any favors. I know you guys like him but he really doesn’t care much for open discussion like Alan does. “If it ain’t neocon I don’t wanna hear it” seems the new theme of his radio show. “America is upside-down Hour” is what his TV show is now w/o Alan to keep him sane.

This is insane and very telling about conservatives that they simply wish to demonize this man no matter what facts are uncovered or truth revealed. No matter what anyone says or reports Ayers is a terrorist and no amount of information will sway these people. If you conservatives don’t have an enemy to spit venom on do you end up spitting it on each other? Is that why your movement spends most it’s time degrading the image of Americans in the eyes of other Americans?

I support anyone who stands up for anti-war agendas. What kind of amoral jerk would wish war on other people? Oh yeah, I remember now. That’s a Republican.

  8. Eric, Eric, Eric.

You sound pretty unrepentantly partisan yourself. Yeah, I’m a conservative trolling around enemy territory , but I think for myself and I happen to like both Sean and Alan. So sue me. You on the other hand don’t sound quite as “balanced”. Not even close, actually! As for “spitting venom,” conservatives can certainly be guilty of it, but liberals have perfected it into an art form.

Anyway, given there is so much ado these days about the “Fairness Doctrine” and how important it is to have balanced viewpoints, I thought I’d embrace the spririt of it and drop in… You do appreciate and encourage other viewpoints, right Eric?

  9. “Ayers never killed anyone…” Posted by Eric.

That may be true but he did make a remark to the effect that in a revolution innocent people die. I would like to know what revolution he was in. Also, belonging to the Weathermen and being a leader he could be guilty to accessary to murder. (I hope I spelled it right.)

  10. “”Also, belonging to the Weathermen and being a leader he could be guilty to accessary to murder.(?)”

That would be dificult, Willy, considering that they never killed anyone. Unless you consider themselves?

Maybe he could be an accessory to an accidental explosion?
    good grief

What revolution was he in? …the revolution that ended the fiasco that was Viet Nam, THAT revolution, mate.

Put down the Reader’s Digest and the church pamphlets mate…

  11. What a charming Public Information Officer for the National Association for the Police Chiefs. Does he do childrens birthday parties? Christenings?…:)

I guess you didn’t listen to the interview, Ayers admits that nothing the protestors and terrorists did contributed to the end of the war.

I think Sean takes Ayers too seriously and I think Alan doesn’t take him seriously enough.

  13. Not for real!
