RIP Dan Seals

March 26th, 2009, 4:27 PM EDT

Daniel Wayland Seals had 11 number one country hits between 1985 and 1990, but was best known for the 1976 mainstream pop classic with John Ford Coley, “I’d Really Love to See You Tonight.”  Dan’s brother Jim was part of Seals and Crofts.  Gone at 61, Seals battled mantle cell lymphoma.

  1. Was that “England Dan” and John Ford Coley? I remember that song.

Correct, Average James. If his personality was as pleasant as his singing voice, then no doubt he was a great loss to those who knew him. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

  2. GOD Bless, praying for Dan.
