Astronaut Edgar Mitchell: We Are Not Alone In The Universe
Edgar Mitchell, who flew on the 1971 Apollo 14 mission to the moon, says there is extraterrestrial life, and that it’s being concealed by the United States government, among others.
“Our destiny, in my opinion, and we might as well get started with it, is [to] become a part of the planetary community. … We should be ready to reach out beyond our planet and beyond our solar system to find out what is really going on out there.”
Mitchell grew up on Roswell, New Mexico, the site of a purported UFO crash in 1947. Mitchell says he and other members of his community were told by military authorities not to talk about it. However, Mitchell claims, they eventually want the story out, and he is viewed as a c credible messenger because of his resume.
“I urge those who are doubtful: Read the books, read the lore, start to understand what has really been going on. Because there really is no doubt we are being visited,” he said.
“The universe that we live in is much more wondrous, exciting, complex and far-reaching than we were ever able to know up to this point in time.”
And we still have people upset about reaching out to a guy 90 miles off the coast of Florida, or even shaking the hand of the leader of Venezuela. How will they ever get their heads around this one?Click here for reuse options!
