Dick Cheney Continues To Blast Obama
The former VP has no problem attacking BushCo’s successor. He claims he never personally attacked the new president and says it’s wrong to do so. He goes after Obama saying we went to other countries to “apologize profusely”, questions whether Obama is perceived as “weak” and “standing up for America’s interests.”

Tough questions by the Mannity….

Maybe he should go on with Matthews, that would be ok. But Olbermann? That guy is a nutcase. He spews with hatred for the entire Bush administration.
Olbermann has absolutly no respect for Cheney, therefore it would be a lynching if Cheney went on with Olbermann.

K: Steve, you may be right about Hannity but do you really think Olbermann or Matthews would would give Cheney a fair hearing?
K: On the other hand, under a couple of conditions I might like to see such a match-up: 1. Cheney gets editorial control of the televised interview (no cutting to make him appear out of context) and 2. The Puff twins have to document their sources for their statements or claims. Given these two ‘fairness’ issues I think Cheney would literally mop up the floor with those two. He is a very intelligent man and – removing the constraints of the VP office so that he can speak openly I think he’d embarrass them into spotting their panty liners. For teasers the network could run outtakes of the Messiahette and Leg Tingler bitch-slapping each other off camera…

Sean Hannity is at his best when interviewing people like Kalid Muhammad, Malik Shabazz.
He spent almost 2-years manipulating the darkness, the subsconscious mental racism ,hate and fear that prevail still in “some” part of american
society. His promotion of”US against Them” is the main slogan. Indeed, Cheney/ Bush did reinforce his
classical conditioning, just as dogs salivate when
feeding.
For him, Obama is the tuning fork which will keep on ringing for 8-years. AS for Cheney, he is an old vehichule striped of all 4-tires.

Dick has done very few interviews since he left office?
Really?…
Seems like he’s been on the air almost constantly!
Next thing you know Fox will have a “Dick & Sean Show”.
Could this interview use a little more spontaneity? A few more challenging questions? A little less of Sean hovering over every word that Dick utters forth? (I may have imagined it but I thought I saw a little brown spot on Sean’s nose).
Maybe it’s just me..but it seems that this interview was totally scripted & distorting of what the world image of the US has become during the past Admin.
Is Dick really so oblivious to the fact that when Clinton left office the US stood in relative favor in the world & in the span of 8 years we’ve become the most disfavored (feared/mistrusted)nation on earth?
..But afterall maybe Dick is right? Obama should maybe not apologize…George & Dick should! Bigtime!(…There I go again..liberal dreamer that I am …)

Mary, are yo kidding? During the glorious Monica years the country suffered the first WTC bombing, the USS Cole bombing, the embassy bombings in Africa and the incident in Mogadishu. Not to mention 9/11 which occurred less than nine months after Clinton left office.

Bush Co. got out of the way and let the money lenders lead us to financial disaster. Perhaps, Dick should just get the hint…no, wait a minute…let him keep talking. The more he talks, the more he exposes other areas of interest. When the Valerie Pflame controversy started, a special prosecuter was assigned and it gave the administration the excuse that they couldn’t discuss, “an ongoing investigation”. Without the prosecutor, we can allow him to babble away and bury his own case.
Interesting how we had two distinctively divergent pathes of torture polices..one through the pentagon and the other through CIA. Both policies were very much the same, although the agency pathes are entirely different, including the oversight…at least…all the way to the top…where the administration interaction with both agency pathes is set…through the pres and vice pres, and cabinet….hmmmmmmm now, who could make both agency pathes adhere to the same policies?
It is only gonna get more interesting…

I had watched the video, a bit earlier. I understand talking in a respectful and polite tone when interviewing a former vice president or even someone who’s new to Washington style politics ala Gov. Sarah Palin.
However, this interview looks like Sean was fawning over Dick Chaney. Sean wasn’t even softballing. I’ve seen good softballing from Wolf Blitzer and Greta Susteran.
Dick Chaney definitely had control of this interview. If this had been O’Reilly, I doubt the man would get the “fawn” treatment. Yes, there is likely to be softballing; however minus the “fawn treatment.
