If You Want Me, It’s Really Out Of The Question
Hosting the Strategy Room, which I’m now doing Thursdays at 2PM, has engendered some strong responses.

Bruce, you can’t “go back” to a place you’ve never been.

I can’t listen anymore to Alan Colmes and his spouting absurd comments and shouting people down. He did the same thing on Hannity and Colmes and I quit watching that show because of the shouting and because when other people say something he, as most liberals, can’t make an intelligent response but seem to think their response should be to bash someone else.
Something tells me Marge has no problem with impassioned conservatives shouting, because those contain intelligent responses. Right, Marge?

Alan Colmes….do you usually host the 2:00 hour on strategy room? I haven’t been able to watch in a while however if you do host….i’m not tuning in. You don’t shut up long enough for anyone to talk. Get a grip. Admit the media is liberal…called Bush names….fully supports everything Obama does no matter what it is. Good Grief.
Hey, Ashley, thanks for giving me a chance.

Alan – aren’t you on the wrong network – MSNBC would be a much better fit for you than Fox, possibly with Keith Olbermann.
I love watching the Strategy Room, but you are such a left wing nut I can’t take it! I’ll tune back in when your hour is over.
Oh, so you want FOX to have only one point of view expressed, so you don’t have to dirty your mind with any other?

Alan,
Have you ever been camping? Everything you just cited as examples of torture happen on camping trips.
Bugs – Check
Cold small room – Check
Going hungry – Check
Oh yeah…I have fond memories of camping…having someone put a mask over my face, blindfold me, and dunking me in water so I thought I was drowning to death; being thrown against walls; spending the night in a coffin with bugs in a near-freezing room. And then we went canoeing.

Alan,
I don’t expect you to read this, but for me, torture is hearing your demagoguery on the Strategy Room
Yes, as a matter of fact, I am getting an exemption in the next Geneva Convention.

Subject: Easy sitting here today
It’s awfully easy to sit there in a nice comfortable room with no risks saying that what the Bush administration did was wrong. Alan, you make me feel like you could care less if Americans are killed in a terrorist attack.
Believing we should not torture people does not equate to not caring about my fellow Americans. In fact, it is my love of country and the upholding of its values that informs my strongly-held belief that treating another human being in that manner goes against everything we stand for. Besides that, it doesn’t work.

All these fools only hate their country so much they would live better in communist Russia than here.
“Believing we should not torture people does not equate to not caring about my fellow Americans.”
Don’t forget that things work both ways.
These people who are pro-torture are also uncaring of their fellow Americans. They want any person suspected of a crime to be thrown in a cell by the military.
That’s not American. That’s not freedom.
It only proves they know nothing of our system of justice and laws.
Which is one way to judge an American. Too bad so many conservatives keep losing their arguments because they don’t read the Constitution or really anything from what I hear.
I will always stand with Alan and his right to say what he does.
That’s patroitism you freak-job neo-cons.
get real

Notice how all these partisans admit they won’t even watch.
That’s pretty much the definition of a partisan.
Like a little child putting their fingers in their ears and screaming because they are so immature that even hearing you out would be too much for them.
I’ve said it before. It’s sad.

So because Alan is against torture, he must want terrorists to ruin America…*sigh*

Alan, how can I watch if it’s only Thursdays at 2PM? Dang it. I don’t suppose there are any replays.

Alan, you don’t need me to tell you those posts are the typical Fox viewer. Both sides need to display your calm demeanor when presenting their viewpoint. I am so weary of shouting and a lot of people on the right can’t seem to find one thing to agree with Obama on. Hannity even complained about how he handled the pirates! And before any of you right wing posters start complaining about our treatment of Bush, let me refer you to the Clinton years, that horrible decade of peace and prosperity.

You can’t have it both ways, SGL. Bush was eviscerated by the left on a regular basis. NOW you’re weary…not when Bush was president.

What does that have to do with liberals eviscerating Bush and you complaining about conservatives holding BHO accountable.

My goodness, I have never read so much hateful words from the people writing here about their fellow Americans. It is amazing to me that these people had at one time called themselves compassionate conservatives. They are definitely not compassionate towards their fellow man/woman. I have also noticed that most of the hate calls/blogs to your show are from men. It just shows you that women are much better at treating people with respect than men are.
