On Thursday’s Radio Show…
• Ahmed Rehab of CAIR joins Alan to explain why the four terror plot suspects arraigned in NY today were not representing the true Word of Islam.
• President Obama is determined to close Guantanamo Bay and not even Congress can stop him. Judge Andrew Napolitano explains why.
• Compare and Contrast - Alan delves into the opposing national security speeches delivered by both President Obama and former VP Dick Cheney. Whose message do you ascribe to?

So Obama closes Gitmo WITHOUT the approval from Congress, especially Dems. How do you think that will play out? You know what would hit the fan. Actually it would be fun to watch.

Did they let Cheney out of the rest home again?
I might’ve caught his speech but just seeing that gnarly guy is too much like flipping on Speed Channel to watch an episode of Wrecked: Life in the Crash Lane.

You know that Cheney’s approval rating is rising, right?

Yeah, he just moved into a tie with Bin Laden.
Attaboy, Dick!

Vice President Dick Cheney’s speech was planned long ago. So why did you make it sound like he was being disrespectful by giving a speech on the same day as Obama?
Robert Blair Reply:

Because Dick is campaigning for his own demise. It’s embarassing to see him justify his war crimes.

Pelosi canceled a speech on the same day.
Cheney should have postponed in my opinion.
But then again … I don’t think Cheney has an credibility to work with to give a speech in the first place.
He is a torture-supporting war criminal.
I know felons I trust better than that man. A couple actually.

Because Alan is a Liberal.
Truth and facts never enter the liberal mind.

Might I suggest you relocate to a right wing site. Pino? You’ll hear the “truths and facts” that suit you from the likes of Limbaugh, Hannity and O’Reilly.

Stick around Pino,
You’re wrong, but most of us like you around anyway.
You help keep us honest and on our toes. We’d just be preaching to choir much of the time without you and others like you.
By the way, truth and facts are what we search out around here.
You’re just wrong on that………..too. Hehehe

Well … I could say my classic “flip that around and you got reality” kind of thing.
But rather I will encourage you to read up on The Numerburg Defense. The facts sit out there and defy all this partisanship. They are facts.
The actions committed by the Bush admin were torture. You can dispute it if you want. That’s fine.
That kind of obfuscation of truth never flys into history records. Too much evidence against a bunch of anecdotal BS…

Except he is right. And more and more people are seeing that to be true.

Yeah, it’s up to four…and one more potentially in Alabama

Cheney is a little harder to discredit than Obama thought. It’s just tough to argue with the truth.

He is?
I think that is true only for the choir.
He’s had no credibility since the seventies.

No, he is wrong. So wrong that those who fought and died for our freedom are crying out from beyond the grave to take this man and exile him from this nation if not execute him.
Just read the Constitution again. Cruel and unusual punishment. That’s what the ‘enhanced interrogation’ that Cheney is talking about is.
Also we are not saved by anything he proposes. We are made less safe.
Cheney and you can spin it all you want. You can delude yourself with fear and righteousness until you are blue in the face.
You still support torture and are immoral monsters for doing so.
Each and every one of you. I pray that you and those like you find a way to deal with your inner-rage.

They speak Spanish in Mexico also.
There is no point in my remark.
Just one of those out of the blue thoughts that mean absolutely nothing.
But it caught your attention.
