• Honoring our soldiers on Memorial Day: Iraq war veteran Jon Soltz of VoteVets.org joins Alan to reflect on service to our country.

• Colin Powell responds: The former Secretary of State defended his Republican credentials and fired back at Dick Cheney and Rush Limbaugh. Alan weighs in on this GOP feud.

• Are we alone? Stan Romanek, who claims to have encountered UFOs, joins Alan to share what some consider the world’s most documented case of extraterrestrial contact.

  1. Cheney is an alien!!

    EricG Reply:

And he was made in a bunker with FDR overseeing the process…….

  2. I love Colin Powell’s response to bossLimbaugh. “He will not get his wish.” I would venture to say bossLimbaugh is counting down the minutes until he goes on the air tomorrow.

  3. BEHOLD!

Alan doth thrown down the switch on the weirdness … BEHOLD!

  4. Jon Soltz was, as usual, spectacular. Stan Romanek seemed to lack credibility, especially when he noted that many famous scholars were involved with his case, but couldn’t name any.
As far as the discussion of Cheney and torture, it is getting very old and tired. The same circular arguements offer little new solutions to the issues raised.

    EricG Reply:

I agree. Jon Soltz is always a excellent guest and a very well-spoken man. Not to mention highly respectable.

Stan Romanek on the other hand, I believe, makes his case far too strongly.

Like you pointed out, Robert. Romanek would name no one and made definative statements.

I believe that he believes it. But in order to prove it you have to actually show WHY you believe it.

    Carl Sagan said:

    “Extraoridinary claims require extraoridinary evidence.”

I am not against the concept of extraterrestrial contact being a reality … but I do demand a burden of proof upon the people making the claims.
