  1. I wonder if Brian Tackett knew Sen. Robert Byrd when Byrd was KKK Grand Wizard or whatever they call their leaders. Or maybe Brian isn’t old enough to remember.

…when Byrd was KKK Grand Wizard or whatever they call their leaders

He was an ‘Exalted Cyclops’, not Grand Wizard.

These guys must have the maturity of a seven year old, though clearly not the heart of one.

  2. I would like to go on record as saying I discriminate against Brian Tackett. I will not hire him for any position.

I also will not buy his book.

  3. CARA! I guess you couldn’t know that I was swiggin down a cold one when I read “He was an ‘Exalted Cyclops’, not Grand Wizard” I laughed so much I had to get some paper towels and clean the monitor off. Well, that’s ok, it needed it anyway. If you could in the future give a warning that your comments should be read while drinking, I would be grateful. tanks JFA

  4. correction: that you r comments should Not be read while drinking. sorry.

I fully agree it sounds ridiculous, and I wish I could take credit for the comic value, but according to his WIKI entry, we was indeed elected to be a cyclops.

  5. I thought it was a joke! But it did make me laugh.

  6. It’s Ku Klux Klan, what the heck is Klu Klux Klan? It’s a misspelling of the organization.

  7. Your 11:25CST caller: “I’ve never traveled outside the USA but I’ve not missed anything because all them foreign countries are LOSERS!!”

    *Snort*

Question: why are so many of Colmes’ callers Southern Redneck Republicans who’ve never traveled further than 20 miles from “home”? Are there no Yankee Democrats (other than me) listening?

  8. Are there no Yankee Democrats (other than me) listening?

No. They all realized who chitty it is to live in NY with all the taxes and regulation and restrictions on freedom. They moved to the south.

    And found NASCAR,

Boggity boggity boggity…..let’s go racin’ boys!

If you’ll translate that for me, after you sober up, I’ll reply.

Boggity, boggity to you too. There are places in the world where moonpies are not considered a delicacy and NASCAR isn’t a “sport”.

  9. Rick Steves is a workaholic that is also a big pot smoker. Rare.

But as far as it goes, his politics are due more to his pot smoking than his travelling expertise. (Notice the British spelling of “traveling”.)

    How continental!
