GOP Blaming Obama For Iranian Election Results
Former Pentagon advisor Richard Perle says Obama is to blame for Ahmadinejad’s power grab, and Center for Security Policy head Frank Gaffney says Iranian election results are because “they have been emboldened by our weakness.” And you can tell which politicians are interested in taking on Obama in 2012 by how strident their rhetoric is. Mitt Romney claimed on ABC’s “This Week” that the fraudulent Iranian election was proof that Obama’s policies aren’t working. (h/t Think Progress).
It’s very clear that the president’s policies of going around the world and apologizing for America aren’t working. … Look, just sweet talk and criticizing America is not going to enhance freedom in the world.
But when George Stephanopoulos points out that the defeat of Hezbollah in Lebanese elections, Romney ducks the issue.

Richard Perle says Obama is to blame for Ahmadinejad’s power grab
………………………..
How did he explain Ahmadinejad’s victory over the moderate Rafsanjani?
Actually I think he won by the same amount in 2005.

And who was president in 2005?
Maybe Perle was too busy looking for WMD in Syria!!!

In the end, Obama looks good and Iran looks bad here. Clearly Obama’s speech had a positive influence on the people of the Arab world, much to the disdain of the Iranian theocracy and without a doubt to the disdain of many other hard line Arab leaders. To say that Obama was apologizing for America is simply blowhard political rhetoric. Obama has, if anything, emboldened the common people of these nations in their quest for their own human rights.

Mitt Romney is a moron for wanting to pin the results of this fixed election on Obama’s foreign policy. Morning Joe said if anything the speech in Cairo in a way forced the ayatollahs to rig the election.

Perle and Gaffney are both Neocons with all the baggage that label saddles them with. Rather than conveniently forgetting their history, we should have the label tatooed on their foreheads so it’s with them forever, permanently.
They should have been thoroughly discredited and silenced by now. American blood is on their hands. Iraqi blood is on their hands. For that matter, both should be in jail by now for crimes against America. They’re both guilty of treason.

“It’s very clear that the president’s policies of going around the world and apologizing for America aren’t working. … Look, just sweet talk and criticizing America is not going to enhance freedom in the world.”
Well *h*t Romney is a piece of *h*t American who hates his nation and loves his political party in it’s place.
So it’s not surprising that he holds a twisted and insane point of view of everything to do with Obama. He is a partisan and downright stupid.
Just look at how idiotic this statement is:
“America is not going to enhance freedom in the world.”
This is from the exact same folks who told us the Iraq War was going to enhance freedom on the Mideast by bring a democracy forth for everyone to emulate.
Unamerican, unpatriotic and disrespectful … you know … I can’t even find any Republicans who are not all of these three. And Romney is no exception.
The man is a disgrace to this nation.
As is the Republican Party and all conservatives who supported this failed social agenda leaving us with a recession and two unfinished wars.

What excuses are Romneys boyz using for not serving the in the Military now that Willard shot his $100 million wad losing the 2008 Republican primary to an erratic old man who lost the same primary to the worst president in US History, George W Bush, EIGHT years earlier. Yeah, you are a contender…
George W Bush also rattled his failed middle east domino democracy chains and helped elect the current Iranian whacko.
HOW does GWB sleep at night? Hanging from the rafter over Cheney?

1. I don’t think Romney is saying what Alan is saying Romney is saying. I think he’s simply calling the president out for being a wussy, and that Obama’s response to the elections is wrong…not that Obama is at fault for the elections. But you’d have to take the liberal blinders off to hear that message (or maybe I have my conservative blinders on…)
2. Of all the people that ran for President, Romney was the most qualified to lead us through the domestic problems we have now. If the economy would have crashed harder about 6 months earlier I have no doubt he would have been the repub nominee.
3. The reasons that Romney lost the primary are far reaching and nuanced, but a major part of the reason has to do with the religious south not accepting him.
That and he’s a waffler (politician)…which is why I couldn’t get behind him 100%.

Interesting you should bring this up, Flap. I was called, unAmerican, unpatriotic and was told I hate the troops because I was against the unnecessary Iraq war. By people just like you.

All because I dissaproved of the Iraq war, go figure.

this is why I tolerate Bill Maher, though I don’t agree with him hardly at all, He’s the first liberal to really face Obama and make real substantative criticism (that I’ve heard anyway) and he’s funny.

Sorry Daddio. Maddow’s way too intelligent for you. And she speaks fluent liberal – like peace, love and the brotherhood of man. You’d better stick to listening to the gospel of Rush. He’ll keep you on the straight and narrow conservative path – war, hatred and intolerance.

now that I think of it, I did see the Maddow piece on Don’t Ask Don’t Tell..however to the best of my recollection I don’t think Obama ever said anything about changing it. Just wishful thinking from the GLBT crowd, so I don’t think it fits in the same category as calling out Obama on things that he’s clearly made an aboutface on.

She said at one time that his “about face” on certain issues may be a form of strategy he’s using. She said she wants to wait and see what plays out before criticizing him.
