  1. Why wasn’t this guy in counseling for the past HIS WHOLE LIFE?

Further proof that intelligence doesn’t equal morality.

    jasperjava Reply:

Huh? He’s neither intelligent nor moral. His EQ and his IQ are both in the single digits.

    flap Reply:

His IQ was MENSA quality, so I think he (at one point) was intelligent.

I’m sure his EQ was bad.

  2. The Joos planted the kiddie porn on his computer!!?

    It’s a conspiracy!!!

Sad … but funny … but still sad.

Whatever happened to that Nugent fellow who was telling us James was a Naval hero and American patriot cut from the same cloth as JFK?

    GuidoVanHorn Reply:

    somehow this all fits in.

    As swipe too.

  6. Oops gotta figure this out.

  7. Wow! He really IS a Republican…

  8. Nugent is another right wing nut case that needs to be closely watched by Home Land Security. He’s diffinately not playing with a full deck which makes him fit right in with the other right wing wackos.

Such as the muslim convert who murdered that Army recruiter? He, the murderer, spouted off a list of reasons why he murdered him. A list that jives with the left and their anti-war protestors.

A left wing wacko, huh Montana?

No one on the left has guns Lefty?

No one on the left hates gays Lefty?

Once again you paint with your very broad brush and lump all those on the right with the nutcases who commit heinous crimes.

I’m starting to wonder about you Lefty. You seem to be drifting towards the Rocky side of commentary.

    OldLefty Reply:

This has nothing to do with belief in God or gays or gun ownership.

It is about the fact that the left does not fight for these issues and the extreme left, ( which can become violent in it’s own way), does not do so in the name of religion, therefore it is inaccurate to call one whose basically belief system more closely resembles the Christian right’s then the left’s. a “left wing wacko”.

    TDro319 Reply:

Nope. Sorry Daddio. Left wingers, to my knowledge, have never killed anybody.

  9. Not Ted Nugent. John de Nugent the white supremacist who was Alan’s guest on Tuesday. And actually the guy was pretty entertaining, but only because every word out of his mouth was pure fiction.

  10. I wonder how O’reilly’s going to defend this guy now?

If O’reilly said “Tiller the baby killer” then what name does he call the mother in compliance of the law who went to the Doctor in the first place?
    A murderer too?

Hey Fox News and O’reilly, why don’t you just call it murder for hire?

Might stop O’reilly with his name ‘labeling’… maybe not.

    Daddio Reply:

Hey Inaisle8, O’Reilly never called Tiller “Tiller the baby killer”.

I watched the show and he was referring to a story that called him “Tiller the baby killer”. O’Reilly never labeled him.

You must either watch the show or if you did you should pay closer attention to what Bill ACTUALLY says.

    TDro319 Reply:

It makes no difference Daddio. O’Reilly incited hatred against this doctor which inflamed this Scott Roeder character who, in turn, shot the good doctor.

    JaredfromTexas Reply:

    TDRO,

I’m hoping, for your sake, this is a very bad attempt at a joke…

It’d be like me saying your hero Chris Matthews incited hatred against Army recruiters because of his stance on the War, and the recruiter in Arkansas is dead because of it.

Having an opinion on something…and standing by your opinion…does NOT equate to inciting violence.

    You’re slipping…bad…

    flap Reply:

Jared, stop inciting hatred against Chris Matthews…you’re not allowed to criticize him.

  11. Liberals won’t allow a law that would make it illegal to put porn of any sort on the net. And now, in America, we are cursed with people like this guy and many, many more who surf the net looking at the filth that liberals say is “free speech”.

    Daddio Reply:

It is illegal to say a prayer in school, but little Johnny can go home and get on his computer and look at porn all night.

    OldLefty Reply:

    I agree with kmarty.

The problem is that YOU want to be the one who decides what prayer and what porn…..that’s why the government needs to stay out of it.

Actually, when my kids were growing up, we did not allow them to be online unsupervised. We did not get a TV in our room till they left for college, (liberal values, you know).

It was my conservative, religious friends who were divorced and struggling with jobs and new relationships whose kids were unsupervised with cable, phone and internet in their rooms, calling my kids at 11 or 12 o’clock,(at 11 years old)…but, hey, they had their Santorum posters in their yard.

I guess that’s why they need the government inserting itself in “moral” issues.

It doesn’t matter one iota to wingbags like OLD LEFTY how many responsible conservatives there are in the US…

They will continue to lump all conservatives into the same “cheat on your wife, taxes, politics, etc” bucket…all the while ignoring the corruption and moral failures of their own party constituents.

Do you see what I mean: TDRO says:

And if you’ve been married to the same lady for over 40 years, you’re definitely in the minority.

As if a 40 year marriage is something rare in conservative America. They’ve let themselves be blinded by the liberal sound-bite machine they can’t seem to comprehend that there’s a difference between 99% of conservatives and the ones they see on TV apologizing for marital missteps.

    TDRO,

We favor abortion, but not killings, especially in unnecessary wars.

That Obama and his Dem Congress just extended…despite their united campaign promises…

  13. sounds like some would enjoy living in Iran. Homosexuality is against the law, pornography against the law, mullahs n imams run the state. yep the rights utopia, Iran?

  14. Humm, is there a pattern here? Detroit Free Press 06/10/09, J Wright, obamas former holy man said when asked if he talked to the president: “Them Jews aren’t going to let him talk to me”.
Then this von Brunn says/writes. “Investigators said they also found a notebook in the car with handwritten notes saying, “The Holocaust is a lie. Obama was created by Jews. Obama does what his Jew owners tell him to do. Jews captured America’s money. Jews control the mass media.” From the AP article above. Maybe these two nut cases with opposite leanings do have something in common that they can agree with? But why anti-semitism?

  15. Daddio said …”it’s illegal to say a prayer in school”…

No it’s not. Another distortion from the right. Prayers are said all the time in school; every time there is a pop quiz, every time a soph. sees that hot senior cheerleader walk by, etc.

It is illegal to have administrative lead/forced prayer and justly so.

    flap Reply:

“Moments of silence” piss me off in a way. Worthless. If we wanna pray, pray. If we’re too atheistic and secular, skip the moment of silence. I actually just today started a religious sect and it infringes on my religious beliefs to have a moment of silence with no prayer.

Seriously, unless you’re schizophrenic, thinking good thoughts does jack squat for whomever you’re thinking good thoughts about. And, yes, there are some who think prayer does nothing. Skip everything, then, if we can’t pray.

Why can’t a teacher lead a prayer? How does that force anyone into belief? That’s always amazed me that we’re so scared of offending or impinging on someone’s right not to believe that, in a country that is mainly Judeo-Christian, we can’t pray if led by a teacher. If you don’t want to pray, DON’T PRAY. Simple. We can’t talk about Christmas or Easter in a religious sense. It’s horrible…removes from our culture. It’s too dang bad if there are a few who would be offended by it. Tough. I’m offended by crazy libs, those who post on this site excepted. ;)

If a teacher told Little Muhammad the Muslim to come up and lead a Christian prayer, that would be inappropriate and wrong. But, especially now, that would rarely if ever happen.

    TDro319 Reply:

    “Why can’t a teacher lead a prayer?”

Nothing – if you’re in a private school.

    flap Reply:

Why not public? Have Presidents ever led prayers? God bless America at the end of every speech? Isn’t that not separating church and state?

    TDro319 Reply:

Because prayers have no place in public schools which are state funded. If you want your kid to say his morning prayers, send him to a private school.

And the president who stands out in my mind as the most religious is Dubya. And he started an unnecessary war, sacrificing thousands of Iraqi lives and 4000+ American soldiers.

Don’t you get tired of just regurgitating this line? You’re getting as bad as FLAP injecting abortion into every debate…only you like to use American soldier’s deaths as fodder for your political stance on the war.

    Real “compassionate” of you…

    flap Reply:

    I resemble that remark, Jared.

Oh, by the way, abortion is bad! ;)

    michael Reply:

    flap,

A teacher in a public school leading a class in a prayer gives the impression that the school, and therefore the state, is promoting a particular religion, which is unconstitutional. How would you like it if your child’s class was led in a Muslim prayer or Buddhist meditation? Wouldn’t that be infringing on your right as a parent to raise your child in whatever religious system (if any) you see fit?

Now, I do agree with you that we shouldn’t be afraid to say “Christmas” and “Easter”, just as we shouldn’t be afraid to say “Hanukkah” or “Passover”. It DOES delude our culture to simply refer to generic “holidays”, we should instead celebrate the place that ALL of the winter holidays (not just Christmas) have in our culture.

I also believe that, while students in public schools should not be instructed in a particular religion, they should certainly learn ABOUT religion. Too often, even within our own country, gross misunderstanding about other religious traditions leads to prejudice. This anti-semeitc nut who shot the guard and the Holocaust museum I’m sure has an intensely perverted view of Judaism. Likewise, many evangelical Christians grossly misunderstand the beliefs of Catholics and Muslims, etc. Many Muslims misunderstand Judaism and Christianity. Students should certainly learn about religion, not just for the purpose of understanding history, but for the purpose or understanding today’s society.

    michael Reply:

but the realm of religious instruction should be left to the parents, so as to protect their family’s right to freedom of religion from the state.

    JFA Reply:

You know what micheal? I think I agree with what you wrote above. I think. :)

    flap Reply:

    “…which is unconstitutional…”

I wanna know where in the Constitution it says we must have an atheistic government and/or classrooms. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion…doesn’t require atheism or even non-theism. Essentially it’s saying that Congress cannot say “this religion is banned” or “the government is now Baptist.” Having monotheistic or even Christian prayer in government was certainly commonplace back during our founding and isn’t it true that there’s a prayer each day in Congress?

Now, do I think public schools should be Christian theocratic institutions where children are forced to study doctrine? No. But do I see the inanity of having a “moment of silence”? Yes. I mean, what is a moment of silence? What is it really? It’s an implied prayer. I could sue and say that I’m an atheist and I reject the idea that we should even have a moment of silence because it IMPLIES religion and I’m offended by that. I guess I’m really saying that we take it too far. I mean, good grief, “In God We Trust” is our motto, Michael. Isn’t it a little weird to recognize God on coinage but a prayer led by a teacher is essentially banned?

If I lived in a country with a big Muslim population, and I had a child going to school, I would expect Muslim prayers. If that offends me, too bad. There’s no right in the Constitution to not be offended.

“Wouldn’t that be infringing on your right as a parent…”

Perhaps. If a student was FORCED to say or lead a prayer, I would agree. And do I think prayer in public schools by teachers will EVER be allowed by groups like the ACLU? No.

You make good points, Michael. I’m not advocating making public schools Christian per se, but the idea of a “moment of silence” is kinda stupid in a way.
