On Wednesday’s Radio Show…
• “I have been unfaithful”: Alan examines today’s shocking confession by South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford.
• Dr. Wayne Dyer, whose new book is Excuses Begone!, explains why people like Mark Sanford sabotage themselves with self-destructive behavior.
• If Medicare works for seniors, why not a program like it for all Americans? Alan analyzes the latest arguments in the health care reform debate.

There’s only one argument in the current health care reform war: do we allow the corporate tyrants to keep their stranglehold on the peasants, or do we not?

Oh, I’m pretty sure both Demublicans and Republicrats are pro corporate tyrant / anti-peasant.

Well, at least on the bright side, Sanford isn’t gay.
The Republicans can still hang their hats on that ray of sunshine anyway.
And, they still have Newt in 2012!!.

Fox news STOP CRYING!!!
Use your next TEABAGING PARTY to discuss Health Care.
Anyway, why would you want to be at the table with someone who thinks like Ayers and Rev.Wright?
What is there to discuss with someone whom you want to fail?
Stay in EXILE Hannity.

Joel and/or Alan, you could play “Take a Letter Maria” by R.B. Greaves. It doesn’t quite fit but parts of it could work perfectly.

Chorus:
Oh take a letter Maria
Address it to my wife
Say I won’t be coming home
Gotta start a new life
So take a letter Maria
Address it to my wife
Send a copy to my lawyer
Gotta start a new life

After all, what does “till death to us part” mean to these republican anyway? They’re just words (well, to republicans, anyway. Now if a democrat is caught cheating on his wife, them family values repubs will use those words to beat them over the head with).

I think Sanford should resign.

TDro,
I don’t think those words mean anything to a majority of politicians in Washington. Power is their first love. Actually those words don’t mean much to most any politician in all 50 states, (or 57 states in Obama’s world). Our local mayor just broke up his and anothers marriage by having an affair. He is a democrat by the way.

Daddio:
So what? Did your democratic mayor get on his soapbox and whine about the immoral behavior of the republicans while he was having an affair?
And of course you couldn’t miss an opportunity to get a dig at Obama. So here’s my dig at Dubya: 4000* brave Americans and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi citizens dead or displaced.
I’ll take Obama’s comments about 57 states over Bush’s Hitler tactics any day.

Medicare works for seniors. Medicare is way, way in debt. Government control of health care will only result in the destruction of the best healt care system in the universe.

“…the destruction of the best healt care system in the universe.”
Hey, that’s funny.
What we have in the US is the worst health care in the industrialized world so anything done to reform it is likely to be an improvement.

Can you explain to me why there are people all across this globe who come here for life saving procedures if we have the “worst health care in the industrialized world”?
I know you will put your explanation, read spin, here. What I want to know is the real reason why so many would come to the US for care if we have the worst health care.

Because they have the means (moolah, cash, benjamins etc..) the poor well not so much, except on occassions that doctors/nurses donate their time and talent to help others that cant afford certain procedures. Kregg mentioned awhile ago about his efforts on this subject.
Kregg how would you improve healthcare in the states?
Im not putting you on the spot brother just curious if you had any different ideas that havent been discussed.

Craig got that right. People with the cash will flock here for their life saving procedures. Not because we’re any better than any other country. It’s because doctors will bow to the guy holding the almighty dollar. That’s how the current U.S. healthcare system decides who should live and who should die.

Doesn’t that suck.
I mean really suck.
Profiteering. You nailed it.
Capitalism and compassion do not mix at all in health care. The status quo sucks. The private sector needs to be removed from health care.
Greed will kill us, one way or another.
