Rush On Sanford: “It’s Obama’s Fault”
Hoffmania has it. Mark Sanford is so depressed about how the Democrats are destroying the country. He did everything he could to stop it; his wife left him; he figured he’d enjoy what little time he has left. If only Obama hadn’t destroyed this country, people wouldn’t have lost their spirit and the Sanfords of the world wouldn’t be cheating on their wives.

The man is a total buffoon making craze remarks. Gov Sanford went to his groove on because his wife tossed his sorry ass out 2 weeks ago.
You can like Sanford or not. The man loves more than 1 woman just like bouncy bouncy.
June 26th, 2009 at 11:58 am
Rush totally explained the senator’s vanishing act for me.
Rush got it right when he said “screw it”.
That’s why Mr. Sanford left the South Carolina citizens without a governor for almost six days and went to Argentina. He went there to.. Screw IT.
Good job Rush!

Rush and the rest of the loud right are sowing the seeds of discontent. Their negativity is so intense these days, it is getting frightening.
DHS may well become absolutely prophetic, as wackos that have totally lost heart (thanks to Rush and company) take up arms and get extremely destructive.

And you would blame Limbaugh? With all the absolute vitriol for Bush over the past 8 years, I wouldn’t blame libs if someone had tried to take him out.
In fact, wasn’t there even a movie about assassinating Bush?
Now, since he is our first black President, I do think he should get more secret service protection because there are still racist idiots who would take him out. But Rush’s fault? C’mon.

In that it would not be his fault, directly.
I would blame Rush and others for their incessant fear mongering. They(the loud right)are sowing the seeds of unrest, of discontent. The already unbalanced out there are armed. 2+2=4
Under Bush, the liberals, while extremely discontent, were far less likely to resort to violence. We are the peacemongers, the pacifists, the bleeding hearts.
We tend to believe in karma, and tend to quote Ghandi, and MLKjr.. non-violent civil disobedience.
Sit-ins, hunger strikes, candlelight vigils………..you know the drill.

Sedition: conduct or speech inciting people to rebel against the authority of a state or monarch.
Interesting, rather hard to enforce in a free society. Where is the line ?
Talk of secession ?
I dunno.
GuidoVanHorn Reply:

the tricky part of sedition is that you can only pinpoint it after the fact and if the person rebelling makes no clear indication that person x’s comments or conduct were the catalyst of rebellion it’s somewhat circumstanstial at best.
If you were going to try everyone for sedition that opposed the govt…well we wouldn’t have a free society.

Well if you are saying that Sotomayor is a racist or that Obama made Sanford cheat on his wife you are dead wrong. In fact if you are saying that it makes a lot things clear. If you believe this ‘Rush Limbo Logic’ then it says a lot about your intelligence level.
A real man is smart enough to know that Rush plays his harp for conservatives and would bash a Democrat for cutting taxes. It’s practically a comedy show because he would never be bipartisan or even slightly American for even an instant because it would hurt his image.
He is wrong, there is no doubt in any sound minded American of this.
If you perfer his opinion to others like perhaps Alan Colmes … then that’s great and I am totally all for it.
But why doesn’t the right ever get on Rush’s case when he says lame and stupid things?
Could he be God incarnated? Because that’s the only way that he would never make a mistake for the right to bash him with.
I say that The Kregg is one of two things:
1.
A Rush Limbaugh Worshipper and a danger to the country.
2.
A conservative who never once challenged another conservative when they say racist, ignorant and hateful things on the radio.
—
I think it’s all about number two. These so-called Americans called ‘conservatives’ have never once demanded civility and reason and logic from their media figures like Limbaugh. And in response the right wing media has evolved into a Racism Factory.
It’s a shame because real Americans can’t listen to racism, bigotry and sexism without the pride of the nation being sacrificed upon the words of hate and loathing for God’s children that Limabugh expresses.
And in the end we have a polluted mind that believes hate is patriotic and ignorance in politics is bliss.
The Mind of The Kregg.

…………………………………………..
That’s a funny thing to say because it does not distinguish between satirizing torture and asking if Rocky’s suggestion for Limbaugh is satire.
( Especially when you are talking about a guy who sold “Camp Gitmo” shirts.)
Perhaps Rocky is playing the part that Limbaugh plays so well……that of the “heel” in wrestling.?
It’s an old tactic that the GOP has used since Gingrich:
Rocky says,
” Limbowel is a subversive spewing his evil anti-American hate in hopes of inciting the mental defectives of the radical right to an armed insurrection.
And he should be interrogated at length to determine who is cooperating with his conspiracy.”
If this were the media, every show would be, “Is it an OUTRAGE for Rocky to suggest that Rush Limbaugh should be interrogated?!?!”
“Is Rocky OUTRAGEOUS for suggesting the Limbaugh is treasonous???”
Until you get to, “Is Limbaugh treasonous?”
If enough people start to question Limbaugh’s patriotism, and it starts to seem normal to even a few people, few people, then you have done your job.

OLD LEFTY,
YOU made the comparison, sister…not me.
I don’t assume Rush is being facetious…he’s proven he is over and over again. ROCKY, however, has only proven his hate and discontent with anyone even slightly right of him.
I don’t have to ask whether ROCKY wants his rhetoric to be policy…anyone with a brain can tell he speaks what he believes should be reality.
Oh, by the way…when have we seen a “spike in violence” when Rush speaks?
Remember, you are comparing Rocky to a guy before whom who those in your party grovel.
Again, the comparison started with you…
And those in “my party” don’t grovel before Rush…I’m an Independent…
But it’s kinda like those in “your party” groveling before Obama, right? Same/Same?
June 26th, 2009 at 2:02 pm
This is also similar to what Rush told the draft board when they came after him after high school: “the sore on my arse is Obama’s fault but thank goodness because it’ll keep me from going to South Vietnam.”
June 26th, 2009 at 2:45 pm
This is a switch. Up until now, everything that goes wrong in the world has been Bush’s fault. Now someone is blaming something on Obama?? I don’t think this will last too long. They will go back to blaming Bush shortly.
OldLefty Reply:

I thought everything was Clinton’s fault.
For the first 92 months of Bush’s term, the economy was Clinton’s fault, while the last 4 months was Obama’s fault.
When we got attacked twice on Bush’s watch, it was Clinton’s fault….if it happens now, it’s Obama’s fault.

Daddio we blasted Bush because from the time Cheney signed on people were afraid they were going start a war in Iraq, (due to PNAC).
We always said they were misleading us into a war that resulted in thousands of deaths and maiming.
And for tax cuts at a time of two expensive wars, and for violating the geneva conventions.
I think it comes no where the harassment of Clinton in substance.
Bush would have been impeached and proscecuted if the Democrats were anything like the Republicans, or if they put the constitution above re election.

“You don’t remember the eight years you and your fellow leftist blasted Pres. Bush?”
I remember all of it. At first the tone was overly rude and downright unpatriotic from the left. We tamped ourselves down and in time made better case against Bush with the ‘Not my President’ and ‘war-criminal’ every other word.
You just stop listening to the ‘commies’ at some point and proved you were never an American to begin with, just a Republican and nothing else.
Now let’s see the right wing start acting like Americans now that they have had a few months to be idiots and act foolish … the time is up. It’s time for respectable debate and sound reasoning.
Let’s hear it.
Oh wait, I forgot. All conservatives have after destroying the economy and eight years of Bush is nonsense and screaming about ’socialism.’
I will not mourn your political death. You guys deserve everything you get.
Shameful disgraces and partisan ideologues should be thrown away. Let are useless to a democracy.

This is a pathetic excuse for one’s behavior. We never had one liberal commentator blaming Bush for the political sex scandals during his presidency. Did the Iraq war make that senator solicit gay sex in an airport bathroom? This shows you the true nature of Rush and his everything can be blamed on liberals attitude. I thought being conservative meant pulling yourself up by your own bootstraps and not blaming others for your failures. Blaming others is a liberal thing right?

The problem isn’t so much people who don’t like him taking him literally, the problem is his minions actually believe what he vomits forth.

You have the right to appear foolish regardless of your girth. As for referring to a man by his middle name, when normally that person does not do so, you further marginalize yourself as a kook. (another thing you have a right to, of course)

Gays are free to get married all they’d like. If the only way you feel that your marriage is legitimate is if the government recognizes it then you have a slavery problem more than a sexuality issue.
I’d like to see the government get out of all marriage altogether. But I’m into freedom so I’m funny that way. Some people love government and their only qualm is how it’s used to coerce.
Advocating big government in the cause of freedom and equality is like making love in the cause of virginity.

If you want the government to get out of marriage, where should marriage be….in the church?
Marriage outside of the clergy is a legal contract.
And who will divorce you and divide the property?

There is no winning of elections in an authoritarian system that feeds on the stupidity of emotional issues.
Conservatives and liberals have been played like violins based on emotion rather than logic, and both parties are working together to implement tyranny.
Just listen to Alan. All he can think of is what people with an “R” next to their name are doing. He’s making pretty good money doing that also. It pays to support the divide and conquer autocracy. And some people are stupid enough to think they’re smart by supporting their own slavery.
