  2. White, Black, liberal, conservative, straight, gay… it doesn’t matter,
    Music can be uniting.
There are many things that I found troublesome in Michael Jackson lifestyle but his superior musical talent and skill at dancing, production, and dynamic media development where actually world changing. He was a real artist!

Much of his music was not my style of music but it is still sad to see him gone; and such a young man.

Thank you for being a human being, Helipilot.

I can remember from past postings that you and I are opposed politically but I would seriously and honestly like to thank you being rational and respectful in regards to the passing a legend.

Sign a personal letter of support for Lt. Dan Choi to help him fight “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”

  4. I get it, Eric’s gay.

  5. Another campaign promise broken:

The Obama administration is considering an executive order to indefinitely imprison a small number of Guantanamo Bay detainees, a move that would be in line with Bush administration policy.

“I will close GTMO in my first 100 days!”

Bush’s fault…Republicans…conservatives…get it through your head, Jared!

Jared, the promise hasn’t been broken yet if the executive order for indefinite imprisonment is still “under consideration”.

    Libpatriot…

My apologies…I was looking a bit into the future…

I’d put good money on this one, though…just due to the fact that he’s nowhere near closing GTMO like he’d promised during the campaign.

    Let’s look at the facts:

No one wants to take the detainees…despite Obama’s obviously ineffective political charm on this issue.

    Congress won’t fund the closure.

    Military tribunals have resumed.

I think the odds are in favor of keeping GTMO open…what do you think?

Jared, I fear you may be right. I hope you’ll pardon me if I continue to HOPE that you may be wrong, though, for now.

  6. Alan on the off chance you see this, I need to make a request.

Please discontinue your support of Huffington Post by taking their link off your page. I was clearly censored on two occasions, not for using a forbidden word or violating their comment policy, but for comments I feel were fair and well-reasoned, but may have been slightly critical of their operation, that were only made in an effort to prove a point to another poster.

I value your entertainment value and appreciate the fact that as long we more or less behave ourselves and refrain from foul language you allow everything to be posted, even if we occasionally take swipes at you and your efforts.
