  1. Nice!! This is going to be a FUN show!

  2. Ha! Your having to talk to [what Obama is] Morris and Ann Coulter on the same day is your penance for publishing those private emails on your blog.

I’d say that just about balances things out.

  3. Rather than put on a couple of degenerative lying skanks who should dive into the La Brea tar pits with the rest of the dinosaurs–such as Morris and Coulter–why not bring back that “skinhead” John de Nugent?

    At least he was entertaining.

    Howard K Fluffenburger Reply:

I think the back and forth between Alan and Morris/ Alan and Coulter is very entertaining. Plus I would never call ANYONE a skank. I guess thats why Im just a bit better than MOST people in general

    EricG Reply:

Howard, you almost did it and then you fell flat on your face…

“I guess thats why Im just a bit better than MOST people in general”

  4. Alan, You have to be a masochist. Dicky and Annie on one night? Wowzer. I’ll bet you’ll need a few beers to get through those.

    “Who Moved My Soap”

Can’t stop laughing over that title.

  5. and also Ann is pretty hot..I would like very much for her to make a tent with her hair over my face…but I regress

    Rocky the Liberal Rottweiler Reply:

Ann Coulter wouldn’t be hot if you drenched her in lighter fluid and set her on fire.

    Howard K Fluffenburger Reply:

Dude, If Ann had her hair all tent-like drooped over your naked torso tickling you with her every gyration, I doubt you’d be talking that way.

    Danielle Reply:

I realize I’m not a dude, but if I was I don’t think she would be the least bit attractive. She needs to cut that nasty looking stringy hair. Plus she has a very nasty, hateful personality.

    blissfulconservative Reply:

In your opinion. Your liberal, NOW, anti-conservative opinion.

    Danielle Reply:

Are you telling me that some of the most nasty, disgusting things haven’t come out of this woman’s mouth?

    flap Reply:

Are they are nasty and disgusting mainly because you disagree with them?

    Rocky the Liberal Rottweiler Reply:

No, seriously, let me put this in locker room terms, just so it’s clear: I absolutely would kick her out of bed. In fact, I’d rather be gay.

    blissfulconservative Reply:

    danielle

No more than any other liberal talking head.

    GuidoVanHorn Reply:

Danielle, you’ve pointed out the difference between men and women…when talking about her looks you bring up her personality…what does that have to do with anything?

Though I don’t approve of the lurid comments made by mr. fluffer…

    TDro319 Reply:

Since there’s some speculation about Ann Coulter’s gender, I wouldn’t want her/him to make a tent with her/his hair over my face.

    Danielle Reply:

    Flap -

Telling the widows of 9/11 victims that they liked the attention and their basically happy about their husband’s death – isn’t nasty? And she had made various other horrible statements similar to that.

It’s one thing to say obnoxious stuff about general political viewpoints, but that kind of sh!t is completely uncalled for and one only a very ignorant, hateful, insensitive person would make.

    blissfulconservative Reply:

You mean like David Letterman’s comments about Palin’s daughter? Or any of the other jokes made about her and her kids? How about all the nasty remarks made about dick cheney and george bush??

Oh, wait. They don’t play on your team.

    Danielle Reply:

I don’t condone the comments Letterman made about Palin’s daughter. He did apologize, but it was still a really poor lack of judgement.

Regarding W. and Dick-y; considering I feel both their a**es should be sitting in a jail cell right now – I really don’t care what nasty stuff is said about them (excluding their families of course).

    blissfulconservative Reply:

In other words, it’s okay to say nasty stuff about people you don’t like.

    Got it.

    Danielle Reply:

And Bliss – you have the guts to talk about “playing on your team”. You’re by FAR the most paristan conservative on this website…you never speak out against your party no matter how hideous they act.

    blissfulconservative Reply:

    Danielle

You have said that at least a dozen times (usually when I make a valid point that you don’t like), and you are WRONG.

    Danielle Reply:

    Bliss -

Yeah…I don’t care if I hurt war criminals feelings.

And I’ve made that comment at least a dozen of times because I’ve never seen you do it? Perhaps if I would EVER see ONE statement that completely condoned the behavior of a Rep then I would change that point of view. I’ve just never, ever seen that from you (now grant it, maybe there were posts that I have missed, but I’m sure not given your one-sided thought process).

    Danielle Reply:

And Bliss – you rarely make a valid point anyway.

    blissfulconservative Reply:

Who is a war criminal? Once again, YOUR opinion stated as fact.

And the rest is just BLAH cuz you’ve said that whole paragraph before too. You want to point out that you think I am partisan? You are a hoot.

Usually when someone blames everyone else for stealing cookies they wipe crumbs off their mouth first.

    blissfulconservative Reply:

I feel the same way. I’ll take that whole valid thing as a compliment from you. That means I am holding true to my beliefs.

    blissfulconservative Reply:

You also don’t care if you hurt a woman you have never met, don’t know anything about, who has done absolutely NOTHING to you.

    Danielle Reply:

What have a said that is so horrible? And you over the times haven’t said hurtful things to me?
Several comments immediately come to my mind, and they weren’t warm and fuzzy I can tell you that.

    EricG Reply:

BlissfulConservative – “Once again, YOUR opinion stated as fact”

Ever watched FOX News or listened to right wing radio?

Because … well … that’s pretty much all they do.

    Daddio Reply:

Eric–”Ever watched FOX News or listened to right wing radio?”

Eric, have you ever watched CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, or listen to left wing radio? Their opinion stated as fact. That’s pretty much what they all do. Or even you for instance.

    EricG Reply:

“Eric, have you ever watched CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, or listen to left wing radio? Their opinion stated as fact. That’s pretty much what they all do. Or even you for instance.”

Absolutely I have. Have you? Because that’s the way it works. You learn more watching FOX as a liberal or MSNBC as a conservative about modern politics than you ever would just drowning yourself in your own opinion.

I’m a pundit. At least I’m not so arrogant as to think of myself as anything but that when you have these ridicous conservative pundits like Bill’O or Hannity or Coulter or Savage or Beck.

I’ve admitted it before, I’ll do it again. I use their material against them, you know? The tools of the enemy used to defeat them … that kind of stuff.

Conservatives have turned media-slander into an art and I am happy to help paint the canvas a little blue!

  6. I don’t even want to THINK of sex acts involving Ann Coulter.

    EricG Reply:

You’re just not desperate enough, yet! Just you wait….

  7. Alan

PLEASE do a show about the EPA papers that the current adminstration doesn’t want leaked regarding the global warming fallacy.

    EricG Reply:

I agree that Alan should do a show addressing why people think global climate change is a ‘fallacy.’

    Rocky the Liberal Rottweiler Reply:

“…why people think global climate change is a ‘fallacy.’”

Two reasons: simple idiocy, and suicidal impulses.

    EricG Reply:

“Two reasons: simple idiocy, and suicidal impulses”

    LOL!

I suppose the answer is rather simple when you think about it.

  8. Ya know the one that Alan Carlin helped author?

    OldLefty Reply:

“PLEASE do a show about the EPA papers that the current adminstration doesn’t want leaked regarding the global warming fallacy.”
    ……………………………………

Oh, did he do a show about AUGUST 2003 investigation of the COMMITTEE ON GOVERNMENT REFORM that chronicled lapses in scientific integrity across the government — from the National Cancer Institute, which falsely connected abortions to breast cancer, to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which killed a climate change section from a key report. Press secretary Scott McClellan said the minority report was “riddled with distortion.” The Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS), however, followed with its own analysis in 2004 that included a statement denouncing the administration’s tactics — signed by thousands of scientists, including 49 Nobel laureates and 63 recipients of the National Medal of Science

Dr. James Hansen of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, was censored by a 20-something political appointee reportedly out to “make the president look good.”
In April 2008, a UCS survey of 1,586 EPA scientists reported that 60 percent had experienced political interference in their work during the past five years, with 10 times as many scientists saying interference increased than said it decreased.

The guy that wrote the paper is Alan Carlin, who has been in the NCEE since the seventies.

While I don’t think everybody should be heard from, he is a darling of the conservatives, and a bit eccentric.

He is an economist, not a scientist, who proposed changing the earth’s radiation with particles.

    D. Engineered Climate Selection or Changing Earth’s Radiation Balance Directly (R3)

To the extent that there is a need for preventing or mitigating only the temperature-related effects of global warming, there is strong evidence that this can be done by altering Earth’s radiation balance. This was discussed as long ago as 1979 by Freeman Dyson and Gregg Marland116 and perhaps most prominently by a 1992 National Acad-emy of Sciences global change panel,117 which noted what appeared to the panelists to be its surprisingly great practicality. Other scientists have recently expressed interest.118 There are a variety of proposals to change the world’s temperatures by altering either the heat coming into the earth from the sun or changing the amount of heat reradi-ated back into space from the earth

  9. Alan Carlin and John Davidson are economists, and were told to stick to their fields.

    blissfulconservative Reply:

Alan Carlin is an EPA analyst AND an economist. How nice of you to leave out the EPA analyst part lefty.

    OldLefty Reply:

How convenient of YOU to leave out the part about his not being a scientist, and that he is a bit of a crackpot, who advocates “solar radiation management”, Blissfulconservative.

    blissfulconservative Reply:

    Old

He works for the EPA. He did a 98page report with findings that DON’T match up with the whole “let’s panice, we are all gonna burn up” mentality floating around.

I never said he was a scientist. He IS an EPA analyst, and it’s pretty darn funny that right after cap and trade we find out there is a report that says they are full of crap.

    EricG Reply:

Cap and trade and the facts of global warming are two different issues entirely.

There are TONS of reports done by multitudes of agencies that do not comport with the Kyoto Convention findings but by and large the scientific community stands with me and not you.

  10. You let the dRuNkIeS on the air tonight Alan. Very professional…

Next comes the TWeaKeRs, and then for the sake of bipartisanship you have to give some time to the j-u-n-k-I-e-s who will take fifteen to twenty minutes to say a full sentence.
