Congressman Peter King Unloads On “Lowlife” Michael Jackson And The Media
Long Island Congressman Peter King is bent out of shape because he feels the media has “disgraced” itself with the coverage of Michael Jackson’s death.
King said the King of Pop, who died last week, may have been a good singer or dancer, but he was a low life, child molester and a pedophile.
“He died he had some talent, fine, but there are people dying every day,” King said in a YouTube video, adding “There’s nothing good about this guy.”

No clue what he’s talking about.

This whole media storm reminds me of the media coverage given to the former stripper and porn star Anna Nicole Smith.
It’s sad, really.

What’s sad is the words of Pete King. Only a lowly man could say such things so close to someone’s passing. Whatever a person thinks of a man, to slander him in the grave is the act of a vile person.

You could ask a thousand people on Long Island who’s Peter King, and the one or two who might know would all be refugees from the corrupt republikkkan regimes that have been running Nassau County into the toilet for the last couple of decades.
So, to quote a phrase, he’s got a big mouth, but “There’s nothing good about this guy.”

Bury the [] already. He liked little liberal boys.

You’re a disgusting excuse for a man, Jerry.
Go back to your KKK rally. They miss you.

What Christ-like behavior you display Jerry!

Pete King is just a right winger bough off by idiots in the media who hate black people, hate good music and hate America.
His immorality is clear. Shame on him.

do you have insider knowledge on that Ericg?

What a hateful man! He’s free to have his opinion of Jackson, but he has no proof that the man was a child molester or pedophile – in fact he was proven not guilty in a court of law.
Was Michael Jackson weird? Yes. Is there too much media attention to his death? Probably. But….this guy only makes himself look like a “lowlife” by saying such hateful comments, especially since his grieving family (particularly his children) I’m sure will hear this.

What astounds me is many of these right wingers wait until people are dead and unable to defend themselves before they start trashing them. How cowardly is that?

So only right wingers have ever done that?

Do you mean like the left did to Ronald Reagan??

I think she means more like;
The Clintons killed V1nce Foster, crackpipe Christmas trees, Chelsea is the Whitehouse dog, her father is Janet Reno, Clinton is “a very good rapist”, Timothy McViegh should have hit the NYT, Booth killed the wrong Lincoln, Hillary was a lesbian, “John McCain has a black baby, John McCain is the Manchurian candidate……
Like when the right did that.

Old
I think the charge by TDRO was that right wingers trash the dead. Your above don’t include anyone trashing the dead that I am aware of.
Trees was responding by asking about the left trashing reagan. Do ya have an answer for that?

Ok, I didn’t see the dead part, although we don’t have anyone dead right now, as I’ve said, Tony Snow, and Molly Ivins were both trashed by posters, who were chastised by those who ran the websites.
I didn’t notice any trashing of Reagan other than the opining that he “greatness” is a myth promoted by the Reagan Legacy Foundation.
Actually, many on the left think that the true good that he did is denied and poo-pooed by the right.

Yes, maybe King was alittle over-the-top; but I’m sorry, MJ was NO role model. The media needs to get over it and soon.

I much prefer being on your side Danielle but Deb’s will do.
Jackson BOUGHT his way out of several lawsuits and I think it remains very safe to say that MJ was NO Role Model.
(Personally I really liked the Thriller Album, but not Jesus Juice at Neverland for the Tweens).

Peter King has done something a big favor. Prior to “speaking out” no one knew who the hell he is. (Nor cared.)

Correction: Peter King is a publicity whore. For himself. Good work, Petey! (Who are you?)

Since Michael Jackson’s death on June 25th at least 13 United States soldiers have been killed in Afganistan.
Non stop coverage of Michael Jackson.
No mention or coverage of our brave soldiers.
Damn shameful!

Well, a democrat is in office now. No need to bring up soldier’s deaths every single day.

Agreed RDM.
Bliss, not so much. That being said, I do believe that there should be daily coverage of pine boxes returning home. Perhaps mini-biographies with photos of the war dead. We should not become numb to the reality of war.
