Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was indignant when asked by a student at a  forum in the Democratic Republic of Congo what her husband thought of a particular issue and what her male guide thought, but not what she thought.

He said: “We’ve all heard about the Chinese contracts in this country. The interference is from the World Bank against this contract. What does Mr Clinton think through the mouth of Mrs Clinton and what does Mr Mutombo think on this situation? Thank you very much.”

Congressman David Scott Had Reason To React As He Did

Georgia Congressman David Scott, who will be on radio with me Tuesday night, has been victimized by a vandal at his Smyrna office who painted a four-foot swastika on his door.  This comes days after a contentious town hall meeting where Scott was confronted by Dr. Brian Hill, who wanted to know why Scott voted for a bill that would provide Massachusetts-style health care.  Scott was annoyed that he was accused of voting for a bill when there was no such vote.  And what the media didn’t show was the build-up to the moment when that question was asked.

So Who Was It Who Was Attacked At the Carnahan Event?

Conservatives are claiming that conservative activist Kenneth Gladney was attacked by “union thugs” at a town hall meeting held by Congressman Russ Carnahan.  What seems odd is that Gladney appears fine in the video of the melee, and yet later claimed he needed treatment for injuries to his knee, back, elbow and shoulder.  Two days after the incident, he showed up in a wheelchair to protest the SEIU, the union he claims is responsible for attacking him.

Gun Dropped At Town Hall Meeting As SEIU Receives Threat

We’ve had violence.  We have guns. We have a threat that “you all are gonna come up against the Second Amendment.” How long before there is gun violence?  That became a very real threat at a town hall meeting conducted by Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (pictured).  One visitor to a recent meet-and-greet dropped a gun, resulting in aides calling the police with safety concerns.

Mark Sanford Used State Plane For Personal Use

South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford liked to brag about how fiscally conservative he was, to the point of not wanting to take federal stimulus money. That’s what makes reports that he used a state plane for personal use so ironic.

Records reviewed by the AP show that since he took office in 2003, the two-term Republican has taken trips on state aircraft to locations of his children’s sporting events, hair and dentist appointments, political party gatherings and a birthday party for a campaign donor.

Gingrich Defends Palin On Obama “Death Panel”

Newt Gingrich defended Sarah Palin’s statement that an Obama-run “death panel” will decide the fate of patients if we get health care reform, on ABC’s “This Week.”

“Communal standards historically is a very dangerous concept,” Gingrich told me.
