   all the crazy rightwing callers hassling Alan on his show have gotten to him, to the point where he JUST DOESN’T CARE ANYMORE!

   No, seriously, if this was an ambition of Alan’s, it’s good he took it on while still being young enough and limber enough to handle it.

   And, even more seriously,

    Haha, in the days of old. Now a days everything has lycra in. It’s not like Alan is working for the ‘flying trapeze’, he’s just having fun. Been there done that, fun, fun, fun. Not today, yesterday!
