“Kill Obama” Painted On Arizona Political Signs

October 9th, 2009, 4:10 PM EDT

Two political signs in Cave Creek, Arizona, were vandalized when the words “Kill Obama” were spray painted on them.

The two signs, displaying political views on Cave Creek propositions 400, 401 and K3, had the words “Kill Obama” sprayed in purple paint across the front of them.

One sign was located in front of a business at 6610 E. Cave Creek Road, the other was up on the north side of Cave Creek Road west of Galloway Drive.

“This is a complete disgrace and gross act towards our president. My deputies are looking into all avenues of the incident, as it is a top priority,” Sheriff Joe Arpaio said.

Officials say there are no known witnesses or suspects at this time.

The Phoenix area has had a few racial incidents lately, and two national Nazi events are scheduled in coming weeks.

  1. Sigh. Yet another reason why southern AZ may need to secede from the rest of AZ and enter the Union as a completely separate state.

“‘This is a complete disgrace and gross act towards our president. My deputies are looking into all avenues of the incident, as it is a top priority,’ Sheriff Joe Arpaio said.”

OMG, I agree with something Tent-City Joe has said! Maybe it’s the end-times, after all!

    Shorty Reply:

Threatening the president is against the law and vandalism is a violation against property rights. Any Sheriff worth his salt would investigate these serious crimes.

Well if you knew anything you’d know that Sheriff Joe Arpaio is the toughest sheriff in America!!! So if something like this happened in Maricopa County it can mean only one thing!!!

  2. note to vandals: using purple spray-paint over red letters makes your message very hard to read. I recommend black spray-paint for spraying over red letters next time.
