On Wednesday’s Radio Show…

October 21st, 2009, 6:00 PM EDT

• If a new law in Oklahoma takes effect, detailed information about women who get abortions will be published online. Is it a violation of privacy? Alan asks the bill’s co-sponsor, State Senator Todd Lamb, how he can defend it.

Guess who’s back? Alan examines tonight’s Obama-bashing diatribe by former VP Dick Cheney.

  1. What, is this like Megan’s law for women who have had abortions ?

    Insanity !!! and I’m pro-life.

  2. Obviously, women should leave Oklahoma at their earliest opportunity, and stay the hell out of the place till they’re accorded a degree of respect by the radical rightwing pinheads in the state capital.

Maybe if the bubbas had to fry their own gritz for a couple of months they might come into a whole new world view.

  3. Dick Cheney: “OH, go F*** yourself!!!”

“Dick Cheney: “OH, go F*** yourself!!!””

He doesn’t need to. He has Hannity blowing him every night.

  4. Do you have King Edward [cigars] in a box?

Or, how ’bout Martha White [flour] in a bag?

Well, you’d better let ‘em out!!!

    (Har, har, har …)

  5. Dick Chaney LOL..for 8 years he dosen’t say a word. Now he won’t shut up.

    pierre Reply:

Cheney, the dick, had 7 fu@king years to do Afghanistan. Now he wants Obama to clean his mess in
    9 months.
Obama should treat the dick the sama way as fox
    garbage.

FOX is theater, Pierre! Puppets that spew negative propaganda, to try to topple this administration, but to also, enrich their owners pockets.

One needs to question, who OWNS FOX and their like? It’s show-biz with a savage beast at the helm. The beast that feed on it’s own ego…with no regards to our fellow human beings or our founding fathers constitution. Freedom of speech may be a good thing, yet, it also may the curse that crucifies.

  6. Oklahoma = Kansas.

Oklahoma: “Every woman considering or following through on an abortion should have I killed my baby” tattoed on her forehead.”

That should take care of it. Right?

Curious, that males are almost always the ones most concerned with this kind of stuff. It seems to me it should be only between the woman, her doctor and maybe the male contributor. All very curious.

  7. This Lamb-basting Law sounds like an attempt to gain fame on the backs of defenseless women.

This guy needs to be whipped between the legs for being ignorant insensitive a-hole.

  8. Cheney said in a speech tonight that
“we can’t protect this country by
turning our guns on our [friends]…”
Why not? Isn’t that what he did to
    his hunting buddy?

    pierre Reply:

Who has protected the country more so far: Dick or
    Obama?
    9-11 happened within 9-months of Dick’s presidency;
maybe he is too demented to remember!!!!!

  9. Mr.president, KEEP THE ATTACKS ON FOXY NO NEWS NETWORK:
    Ridicule them
    Make fun of them
    Laugh at them
    Vaporise them
    Lash out at fox
    Isolate them
Put them on the political enemies lists
    Silence them if possible
Have a strong antipathy for your opponents– yes fox noise is your enemy– you must destroy them politically.

  10. “Think you can survive the cut? It’s Sudden Death Radio!”

Going to HAVE to try that one of these days…..

  11. State Senator Todd Lamb: “Even! women! in! the! legislature! supported! the! bill!!!”

There’s about 14 women in the OK legislature.

    Oh yeah, that’s real representative.

  12. Todd Lamb:

If all this does is “track” abortions then why not use this same technology and the same funds to gather information on how many people are denied health care.

This is invasive and intrusive. If people wish to contribute to a internet-data base about their medical records they should give specific permission for this to occur.

“We care about abortion because we care about life.”

No, this guys cares about abortion because he cares about pandering to voters.

And most people who care so much about “life” don’t seem to give a damn about killing in the name of war or in the name of justice.

“This is a very polarizing issue.”

Exactly why this joker is bringing it up and repeating all the hate from the Anti-Choice Movement. He is pandering for radical right-wing votes.

And notice he wants “more facts” but doesn’t address the very real facts that women died under illegal abortions in the US to a greater degree than they do to legal abortions.

And that all he wamts to do, like all the hypocrites of the so-called “Pro-Life” forces, is make abortion illega;. Nothing else. They don’t want to come to a solution or even talk about in detail the benefit of this goal they have.

Just like how this bill is harassment, that’s the only real tactic these vile people use. They just harass you until you join them or stop talking about it entirely.

On the topic of gathering information:

I think we should keep intense public internet records of every person registered as Republican and everyone who ever identified with conservatism in public, with no names of course, and include everything from medical records to credit card purchases to schools attended to social-internet activity to legal records.

Only the people on the right would be on the list.

We really need this data. It’s such an important issue to get at this data that any objections they raise in spending state funds on this should be decried as nonsense. Obviously we need to track the right wing of the US. Anyone who says otherwise just doesn’t care about America.

Cheney is the one who should be rejected by all society. He is worse than Nixon. He is worse than Bush.

The most unpatriotic Vice President in American History.

He violated his oath of office and now presumes to tell Obama how to run foreign policy when it his very same notions and policies were proven ineffective and to promote an increase in worldwide terrorism, not a decrease.

He continues to audition before the jurors in his future trial for war crimes.

These recent comments are nothing less than an “affront” to the value of the truth and the value of our laws.

His attacks on Obama are both unjust and plain false.

Nobody who lies enjoys being called out on it, just like the racists. But it still must be done.

“Falsehoods”, “Misrepresentations”, “Dishonesty”; a more civil way to put it.

    The question becomes:

Do people who twist the truth to suit their needs at the cost of innocent lives deserve to be treated with the utmost civility?

    Sudden Death Radio:

I’m not so sure about telling people they can’t “build up to it”.

Make your best point first. I agree with that.

But sometimes I don’t know what I was going for until I “built up to it”.

Some people are just think like that.

Rambling forever and building up to a point are two different things, though.

It takes a moment to get out certain thoughts, they don’t usually fit into 140 characters either!

You shut your mouth when you’re talking to me!

    (I still love this quote.)
