Anti-Abortionists Using E-Bay To Raise Funds For Tiller Killer
Abortion foes are auctioning items on eBay to raise money to help Scott Roeder, the man accused of killing abortion provider George Tiller. Among the items for auction are an Army of God manual, a cookbook, and a bullhorn used at anti-abortion protests.
“This is unique,” said Regina Dinwiddie (pictured), a Kansas City anti-abortion activist who will sign the bullhorn. “Nobody’s ever done this before. The goal is that everybody makes money for Scott Roeder’s defense.”
David Leach is the abortion opponent organizing the auction.
Leach said he was continuing to collect items.
His own donation: An Army of God manual, an underground publication for anti-abortion militants that describes dozens of ways to shut down clinics, including bombing. Leach published a reprint of the manual in 1996 in his magazine, Prayer and Action News.
“I plan to cover up the offending eight pages of bomb recipes and instead insert a note saying that in order to avoid legal problems, we advise our bomb-loving friends to seek their bomb recipes in a U.S. Army Manual, which is approved by the Justice Department,” Leach said. “I will also enclose my April 1996 issue, which contains bomb-making excerpts from a declassified U.S. Army Manual widely available in Army surplus stores.”

Capital punishment does no such thing, though again I’m not a huge fan. If I said I was against the Iraq War, I’m curious as to what your argument would be for abortion?

As a liberal who happens to be pro-life, I find this disgusting, vile, and evil. Two wrongs don’t make a right. Roeder is a maniac who has no right to murder anybody, even a doctor who performs abortions. Our society must protect the rule of law, and it must never be okay to murder somebody just because you don’t like what they do.
