Reporter Got It Wrong On Scalia
As a result of a wrong report on what Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia said at a recent gathering, it was stated that Justice Scalia would have dissented in the case of Brown v. Board of Education. It was actually the Plessy case where Scalia said he would have stood with Justice Harlan, who dissented in that case. The original report, by Harold Fischer of Capital Media Services, has been amended. Here is video of the event.

No worries. Thx for the prompt update.

Reporter must be flogged in the town square.

This is what divides “journalism” from “Fox BS”.
They still refuse to do a retraction of their misquoting of Carter and refuse to disclose on the show that it aired on that O’Keefe, Giles and Breitbart all lied and it can be proven to be so.
Mistakes can be made, but integrity is coming forward to clear up the falsehoods and get the truth on the record.
Fox could care less about that, and Capitol Media Services does.
So Fox is not “news” and CMS is indeed “news”.

Eric knock it off. Support your opinions with facts and quit being so negative. Youre better than that.

““Hitler developed a wonderful automobile,” Scalia said. “What does that prove?””
It proves that even radical rightwing extremist justices of the US Supreme Court can’t help but resort to the Hitler analogy when they get loose and start spouting off.

It’s good that Capital Media Services made sure to clarify their reporting! There is 180 degrees of separation between reporting that Scalia was stating he’d have dissented on the 1896 Plessy v Ferguson case (which ruled separate schools for the races could be equal in quality of education), and reporting that Scalia was stating he’d have dissented on the 1954 Brown v Board of Education case (which ruled separate schools for the races are inherently unequal in quality of education).
Night and day….
