Connecticut Republicans created 33 phony Twitter accounts in the name of Democrats to send out phony messages mocking Democratic policies. Paddy at the Carnival caught it.  And the state Republican chairman (right) doesn’t even get how wrong this is.

Man Arrested For Being Naked In Own Home

Eric Williamson, 29, from Northern Virginia, made the mistake of being naked in his kitchen.

Fairfax county police say a woman and a 7-year-old boy were walking by the front window around the same time.

The woman called police to report the incident.

Officers say they arrested him because they believe he wanted to be seen.

South Carolina GOP county chairmen Edwin Merwin Jr. and Jim Ulmer (pictured) wrote an op-ed piece last weekend defending Senator Jim DeMint from charges he wasn’t bringing enough money home to the state by saving pennies, likening that to what Jews do. Now they’ve apologized.  Except Merwin thought he was being complimentary.

It seems some of my fellow pro-immigrant friends don’t have a sense of humor about this one. They’ve already prevailed upon a number of retailers to stop selling it.
