Is Oklahoma Abortion Law Designed To Intimidate Women?

A new law to take effect in Oklahoma in two weeks will require doctors provide detailed information about women who have abortions, information to be published on a public web site.

The law, which will take effect on Nov. 1, compels the Oklahoma Department of Health to publish data online on all abortion patients — including the woman’s race, marital status, financial circumstances, years of education, number of previous pregnancies, and her reason for seeking the abortion. Doctors who fail to provide such information will be criminally penalized and stripped of their medical licenses.

Only 20% Of Americans Want To Be Called Republicans

Pageant Says Carrie Prejean Hasn’t Paid For Her Breasts

According to the Miss USA pageant, deposed Miss California USA Carrie Prejean owes them $5200 for the breast implants she wanted to make her more competitive. The pageant has filed suit claiming Prejean verbally promised to repay the K2 loan.

Prejean was stripped of her crown June 10 for alleged contract violations.

She later sued, accusing pageant officials of targeting her for a pageant answer she gave opposing gay marriage.

“Even before she became notorious for that answer and the ensuing media storm, Ms. Prejean was already causing difficulty,” the K2 counter-suit states.

SC GOP Chairmen: Jim DeMint Watches Our Money Like A Jew Would

Clear Majority Now Supports Public Option

Rebounding from low numbers during the summer, a clear majority of Americans now support a public health care plan that would compete with private insurers, according to a new Washington Post/ABC News poll.

On the issue that has been a flash point in the national debate, 57 percent of all Americans now favor a public insurance option, while 40 percent are opposed. Support has risen since mid-August, when a bare majority, 52 percent, said they favored it. (In a June Post-ABC poll, support had been at 62 percent.)

GOP State Rep Metcalfe Calls Vets Traitors For Believing In Climate Change
