Louisiana Justice Of The Peace Who Wouldn’t Marry Interracial Couple Resigns

The Louisiana Justice of the Peace who refused to marry an interracial couple has resigned.  Keith Bardwell refused to perform the honors when Terrence McKay and Beth Humphrey got hitched.

 

Bardwell has acknowledged he routinely recuses himself from marrying interracial couples because he believes such marriages cause harm to the couples’ children.

 

Another justice of the peace eventually married the couple.

 

Humphrey and McKay have filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against Bardwell.

    How do we know he’s a racist.

    Hmmm, let’s work it out.

    It’s the year 2009. He’s not living in a cave. He’s a resident of Louisiana. And if he has a fraction of one functioning brain cell he knows he’s gonna look like a GD racist no matter what BS comes out of his mouth, because he’s a GD justice of the peace refusing to do his GD legal duty.

    So how do we know he’s a racist? Well maybe it’s just a wild F-ing guess.
