As David Neiwert notes at Crooks and Liars, President Obama told Republican leaders last week:

I mean, the fact of the matter is that many of you, if you voted with the administration on something, are politically vulnerable in your home base, in your own party. You’ve given yourselves very little room to work in a bipartisan fashion, because what you’ve been telling your constituents is. ‘This guy’s doin’ all kinds of crazy stuff that’s going to destroy America!’

But Bill Kristol actually believes that’s exactly what Obama is doing:

First of all, I agree with the president. I think he’s been doing all kinds of crazy stuff that risks destroying America. But the good news is, a lot of it’s been stopped.

That’s certainly not “agree(ing) with the president,” but it’s certainly making the president’s point for him.
