Rep. Grayson Confronts Tea Party Organizer And Demands He Take Reponsibility For Threats

by Thomas Wellborn

Sparks nearly fly when CNN’s Rick Sanchez interviews Congressman Alan Grayson and Jordan Marks, a Tea Party activist. Marks refuses to take responsibility when Grayson accuses the organization of inciting violence and hate speech, including a death threat to his own 5-year-old son.  In spite of video evidence showing Tea Party activists and Republican Congress members holding shocking anti-Obama signs during rallies, and the recent wave of threats and attacks on Congressional offices across the country, Marks tells Sanchez, “I think it’s a shame that people point to the tea party as inciting ignorance.”

Demands by Grayson that Marks apologize for threats against his child went unmet.
