Sarah Palin Tweeted that President Obama wants a pay decrease for soldiers. This is blatantly untrue.

FACT: The Pentagon proposed a 1.4 percent pay increase, while Congress proposed a 1.9 percent increase.
The issue is the size of the increase, and the battle is between the Pentagon and Congress, not the president, who has always spoken in favor of increasing military salaries. Nowhere does Congress, the Pentagon, and – most of all – Obama, call for decreasing pay for the military.
