Former eBay CEO Meg Whiteman will face former Governor Jerry Brown for the California Statehouse. Carly Fiorina, the former Hewlett Packard CEO, has won the Republican nomination to face Barbara Boxer for Senate in November. Fiorina spent $5.5 million of her own money on the effort. Whitman spent $71 million of her own money and $88 million overall to win her post.
