A couple of days ago on MSNBC, Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks, filling in for Chris Jansing,  debated a couple of guests about the Ground Zero Mosque. Uygur happens to be a former Muslim turned agnostic, with a Turkish family that is still Muslim, so this was a personal issue for him. After the discussion, Uygur gave his own truly inspired and passionate opinion, a performance that everyone needs to see. It reminded me why I love this country so much, and why we must never let the agents of intolerance on either side of the political spectrum lead us down the path of fear and hatred.
