Limbaugh Fan Sends California Lawmaker Racist Death Threat

California State Senator Leland Yee called on Rush Limbaugh to apologize for his racist mocking of Chinese President Hu Jintau, calling him out for his “pointless and ugly offense.” Limbaugh then railed against Lee, which was followed by faxed death threats to Lee from a disturbed listener, including language such as, “Rush Limbaugh will kick your chink ass and expose you for the fool you are.” You can see them here (h/t Think Progress). Virginia State Senator Emmett Hanger wants state agencies to look at castrating sex offenders rather than sending them to jail.

Harps grocery store in Mountain Home, AR felt the need to “protect young Harps shoppers” from an US Weekly cover showing Elton John, his partner David Furnish, and their new baby. Customer Jennifer Huddleston snapped a photo of the offending cover-up to share the ridiculousness and Tweeted, “This was taken at my local grocery store. I was shocked and horrified.
