A post here reflecting questions about Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann’s official bio raised the spectre that it was inaccurate when she claimed an LL.M degree in tax law from William and Mary. Because the college doesn’t offer that degree now, there was speculation that her bio was misleading. However, having checked with William and Mary, it was confirmed that Bachmann did obtain an LL.M degree in tax law when it was offered in 1988.
