The recent WikiLeaks document dump has revealed that Sami al-Hajj, a Sudanese cameraman working for al Jazeera, was held at Gitmo for six years, largely so he could be questioned about the foreign network. Documents show the U.S. believed he was a member of al Qaeda (you can click on the image to enlarge it), but that wasn’t the focus of the investigation, nor was he charged with committing an act of terrorism. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals will hear the case of Wiley Drake vs. Barack Obama, a case about whether Barack Obama is eligible to serve as president of the United States.

Let’s face it, questions about the president’s birth certificate are an attempt to delegitimize him.
