What Should They Say About Bin Laden’s Killing From The Pulpits?
How will Sunday’s sermon-givers approach the death of Osama bin Laden? What are the theological principles behind his demise?
His killing left Christians, Jews and Muslims relieved, proud or even jubilant. For their religious leaders, it was sometimes hard to know just what to say.

Roman Catholic priest Bill Kelly says he understood the pent-up emotional reaction from those traumatized by 9/11. But he said he was taken aback by some celebrations because he detected bloodlust.
He says it’s a problem when the reaction is “tinged with hatred and revenge.”
