Newt Gingrich tried to claim last week that he wasn’t talking about Paul Ryan when he discussed Ryan’s Medicare plan on Meet the Press. Gingrich told Bob Schieffer on CBS that his mistake was accepting a false premise from David Gregory when he denounced Paul Ryan’s plan.
