Al Qaeda To Iran: Stop The Truther Stuff

Al Qaeda is criticizing Iran and its president for spreading 9/11 conspiracy theories.
“The Iranian government has professed on the tongue of its president Ahmadinejad that it does not believe that al Qaeda was behind 9/11 but rather, the U.S. government,” the magazine writes, according to a pdf copy [of Inspire] posted by the website publicintelligence.net.
“So we may ask the question,” the essay continues. “Why would Iran ascribe to such a ridiculous belief that stands in the face of all logic and evidence?”
The writer also says Iran is waging only a “lip-service jihad against the Great …

A Bloomberg News survey of economists indicates the Obama jobs plan holds off a recession.
The legislation, submitted to Congress this month, would increase gross domestic product by 0.6 percent next year and add or keep 275,000 workers on payrolls, the median estimates in the survey of 34 economists showed. The program would also lower the jobless rate by 0.2 percentage point in 2012, economists said.

Nice spin as she sets herself up to announce she’s not running (via Political Wire).
“Does a title shackle a person? Are they — someone like me, maverick, you know, I do go rogue, and I call it like I see it, and I don’t mind stirring it up…. is a title and is a campaign too shackling? Does that prohibit me from being out there, out of the box, not allowing handlers to shape me?”…

Submitted by Obewon
Solyndra has been the boogeyman for everything wrong with President Obama’s investment in America. Dana Milbank straightens things out.
Sen. Orrin Hatch of Utah used Solyndra to argue against worker-training benefits. Sen. Jim DeMint of South Carolina used it to argue that the federal government should stay out of autism research. Disaster relief, cancer treatments, you name it: Solyndra has been an argument against them.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell used Solyndra as an example of why we should cut a loan guarantee program that he voted for.
Solyndra was cleared to participate in this loan-guarantee …

Michele Bachmann takes her cues from conservative blogs to warn of another possible Cuban Missile Crisis.
“And Hezbollah is looking at wanting to be part of missile sites in Iran and, of course, when you are 90 miles offshore from Florida, you don’t want to entertain the prospect of hosting bases or sites where Hezbollah could have training camps or perhaps have missile sites or weapons sites in Cuba. This would be foolish.”…
