Newt Gingrich would seriously consider choosing Herman Cain as his running mate were he to get the nomination. He called it “a real possibility.”
He also listed a number of other names commonly placed on Republican vice presidential shortlists including Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.), Sen. Rob Portman (Ohio) and New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez.
