Pat Robertson Wants To Know If Mac And Cheese Is “A Black Thing”
After Condi Rice revealed that Mac and Cheese is her favorite Thanksgiving dish, Pat Robertson asked his co-host, Kristi Watts, who is black, “What is this ‘mac and cheese,’ is that a black thing?”
“It is a black thing, Pat,” Watts replied. “Listen, and you guys, other people, the world neeeds to get on board with mac and cheese. Christmas and Thanksgiving, we have to have macaroni and cheese, and it trips me out that you guys don’t.”
But that testimony didn’t budge Robertson from coming closer to having this, ‘black’ meal.

“Can’t afford it,” explained the employer, Bill Looman, Tuesday evening. “I’ve got people that I want to hire now, but I just can’t afford it. And I don’t foresee that I’ll be able to afford it unless some things change in D.C.”
…Looman made it clear, talking with 11Alive’s Jon Shirek, that he is not refusing to hire to make some political point; it’s that he doesn’t believe he can hire anyone, because of the economy. And he blames the Obama administration.…

Mitt Romney defends being deceitful by saying President Obama was deceitful. Only, Obama wasn’t deceitful.
“It was instead to point out what’s sauce for the goose is now sauce for the gander,” Romney told reporters. “He spoke about the economy being a huge burden for John McCain. This ad points out, guess what, it’s now your turn. The same lines you used on John McCain are now going to be used on you, which is that this economy is going to be your albatross.”
If Romney were president and made mistakes, would he say, “That’s okay, Obama made mistakes …

Newt Gingrich doesn’t want an immigration policy that breaks up families, and that is a problem with conservatives.
During the debate, Gingrich said: “I do not believe that the people of the United States are going to take people who’ve been here for a quarter of a century … [and] separate them from their families and expel them.”
He added: “I don’t believe that the party that says it’s the party of the family is going to say it’s going to destroy families that have been here for more than a quarter of a century. I’m prepared to take …

President Obama pardoned two turkeys from slaughter, taking part in an annual tradition. The reactions from the GOP presidential field were predictable.
Governor Romney said there was no similarity to the turkey he pardoned when he was governor of Massachusetts.
Governor Perry said he would not pardon turkeys or anyone else if he were president.
Former Speaker Gingrich expressed hope that the turkey could work as a school janitor.
Rep. Paul said the turkey was illegally detained and a pardon should not have been necessary.
Rep. Bachmann hoped that the turkey was waterboarded prior to the pardon …

Former Broncos quarterback Jake Plummer says it’s great that Tim Tebow loves Jesus, but he doesn’t have to hear it every time he opens his mouth.
“I think that when he accepts the fact that we know that he loves Jesus Christ, then I think I’ll like him a little better. I don’t hate him because of that, I just would rather not have to hear that every single time he takes a good snap or makes a good handoff.
“Like you know, I understand dude where you’re coming from…”
Tebow responds:
“If you’re married, and you have a …

A Palin endorsement is likely before there is a nominee-apparent.
“They speak very favorably of Newt and what they see as his credentials as compared to Perry and Romney,” one member of Palin’s inner circle said of the former Alaska governor and her husband, Todd, who has long served as her unofficial chief adviser.
Gingrich has been particularly effusive in expressing his admiration for Palin over the last few months, and she has returned the favor by heaping praise on the former House speaker.
“Newt Gingrich again, I think, did the best because he seems to be above a lot …
