Charles Ogletree: “It Was A Big Joke”

The viral video that Andrew Breitbart claimed would ruin President Obama’s chances for reelection is yet to produce a smoking gun.  Law Professor Charles Ogletree is seen commenting on Obama’s introduction of Derrick Bell, telling a crowd, “Of course we hid this throughout the 2008 campaign. I don’t care if they find it now.” And the crowd laughs along with him. The joke, however, is lost by those on the right who think this is a gotcha moment. Ogletree explains:

“It was a big joke,” Ogletree said. “If you watch the tape, the audience is laughing when I’m laughing.”
