Sgt. Nick B. wasn’t sure he’d see Bodhi again.

To get Bodhi to the U.S., Nick had to arrange for the dog to ride in a car through Taliban-occupied regions.

He also worried that Bodhi would get dehydrated and not make the long trip.

“There’s so many possible things going wrong along the way, it’s truly a miracle,” he said of his pal’s safe arrival.

Bodhi’s settling into his new house in Florida, where the soldier and his family plan to shower him with lots of love — and give him a better life.

The Puppy Rescue Mission works to reunite soldiers and their wartime companions.
