Romney Offends Britain; Local Press Says “Lukewarm Reception”

Romney told Brian Williams that he’s not sure England is ready for the Olympics:

“There are a few things that were disconcerting – the stories about the private security firm not having enough people, supposed strike of the immigration and customs officials. That, obviously, is not something which is encouraging.”

The Telegraph predicted a “lukewarm reception.” It didn’t help that Romney referred to Labour leader Ed Miliband as “Mr. Leader.”
