Jesse Jackson, Jr. Enters Mayo Clinic For Undisclosed Illness

The Chicago congressman has left an Arizona facility. His office says it’s “not true” that he’s being treated for alcohol or drug abuse,  ”but a family friend told NBC News that he has severe clinical depression, a drinking problem or a problem with alcohol…”

A debate continues about what the pubic should be told. Democratic Congressman Steny Hoyer: “I think Congressman Jackson and his office and his family would be well advised to advise his constituents of his condition.”
