Injecting herself into the latest controversy, Sarah and Todd Palin decided to visit the most controversial restaurant in America while campaigning in Texas for Senate candidate Ted Cruz. She told an aide, “Jason, you’re going to have to take me on our way back to the airport later. We drive by a Chick Fil-A. We don’t have that in Alaska. Love me some Chick Fil-A. So we’ll go there, Jason, on the way, OK?”

And then the Tweet: “Stopped by Chick-fil-A in The Woodlands to support a great business.”
