Romney Cancels Labor Party Meeting Before Meeting With Netanyahu

After weeks of planning, Romney canceled a meeting with an opposition leader “for reasons of protocol” at the request of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Labor Knesset head Yitzhak Herzog says Romney was “intentionally misguided by political elements that were unsettled by the steady strengthening of [opposition head Shelly] Yacimovich and her transformation into the only alternative to the prime minister.”
