Palestinians Riled By Romney’s Digs, Accuse Him Of Racism

Romney’s speech to fundraisers included a remark that Israel’s gross domestic product is twice that of Palestinians, noting “a dramatic, stark difference in economic vitality.”  Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekrat called this “a racist statement that shows a lack of knowledge…Everyone knows that the Palestinians cannot reach their full potential given the Israeli restrictions imposed on them.”
