Elizabeth Warren Has 6-Point Lead Over Scott Brown In Massachusetts Senate Race
The Western New England University Polling Institute has Warren up six points, 50-44.
Warren looks to have built her edge by dominating support from older voters and women. Of those surveyed who were 65 years old or older, 63 percent said they were planning to vote for Warren, compared to 35 percent for Brown. When it came to women, Warren enjoyed a 15-point advantage over Brown.
However, the incumbent retains an advantage in male voters, 49 percent to 44.
Brown also holds a substantial edge among independent voters, 57 percent to Warren’s 35.
