Maine GOP Chair Defends Himself: “I Play Basketball Every Sunday With A Black Guy”

Maine’s Republican chair Charlie Webster is defending himself from charges he’s racist after complaining about mysterious black voters casting election day ballots. You see, Webster has a black friend with whom he plays basketball every Sunday:

“There’s nothing about me that would be discriminatory. I know black people. I play basketball every Sunday with a black guy. He’s a great friend of mine.”
