Lawyers for congressional Republicans and for the U.S. Justice Department are looking to settle a suit against Attorney General Eric Holder.

Republicans in the House of Representatives sued Attorney General Eric Holder, head of the Justice Department, in Augustto enforce a subpoena for documents about the probe. They voted in June to find Holder in contempt.
