John McCain: Zero Dark Thirty Wrong To Say Torture Led To Capture Of Bin Laden
Senator John McCain made the case that torture did not lead to information about bin Laden, and even if it did, it is a wrong tactic for the United States.
McCain explained that he watched the film, and it depicts very graphic torture scenes and waterboarding carried out by CIA interrogators, and the implication of the film is that torture was a “major factor” in receiving critical intelligence that led to the raid on bin Laden’s compound.
