RIP Radio Host Bob Jones

Bob Jones starred in the heyday of one of America’s great radio stations, WNEW.

He had been suffering from non-Hodgkins lymphoma.

Jones was a passionate advocate for Golden Age popular standards on the radio, and after WNEW-AM ended its run in 1992, he became the morning host on WQEW until that standards station also left the air in 1998.
